My name is Aisha Harris, the founder of 3Angels Foundation Inc. I am an African-American woman, born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I was raised by a single mother, along with 4 siblings, and that posed a great deal of financial challenges for our family. The reality of living on public assistance as a child has since motivated me to help others in my community. I am currently a single mom of 3, and I have always maintained full time employment and extra jobs to support us. However, that same “grind” has prevented my family and I from participating in several community functions, events, or programs that were available to us. In the early years of raising my children, I was able to obtain an Associate in Art Degree as a Biological Science major (Roxbury Community College), and later obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health Education (Curry College). With my life experience and solid educational foundation, I organized 3Angels Foundation, a 100% charitable organization, established to fulfill my desire to help support families in the urban community, who may be facing the same familiar hardships.
3Angels Foundation Inc is a non profit organization dedicated to providing assistance to families of the urban communities of Massachusetts. This Foundations relies solely on monetary donations, grants and fundraising events to provide financial assistance, community gifts, and information. We are empathetic about community support and passionate about making positive changes.
3Angels strives to be a culturally competent organization that accepts and respects individual differences. Diversity within the organization provides 3Angels Foundation with a full range or perspectives and contributes to the ability to better meet the needs of the families in the community. Our commitment to providing support to single parent families will reflect through an environment that also supports, promoting the awareness of ethnic, cultural, racial, economic, and sexual orientation.
